“You can be happy or you can be right. Pick one”

Must read advice for any husband. From a post titled Happiness Factor: Being Right Instead Of Happy …

“Giving up the need to be right is one of the first steps I believe that anyone needs to take to find the happiness that is inside you. This does not mean you agree with everything that anybody says but you accept someone’s opinion as that and if you feel it necessary to share your opinion you may consider doing it in a way that stresses that you are just looking to discuss, and not convert.”

  1. Great post, I just recently came to the realization that being angry at those who wronged me (being right) gets me no where but unhappy.

Let go and be happy and allow others the right to their situations……

ps..I don’t mean in any situation where someone is in danger or not safe….

    so be happy and safe…

I learned some time ago, never to strive to be “right” (at all cost, even if I know I could be in error it don’t matter; I’m not conceding my position). I now know the correct position is to be on the side of right, on the side of truth. I hope I made sense with this.
